We, GimmeMore GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “GM”), are the operator of the digital mobile games app Quiz Bingo: World Tour, available at quizbingo.io (hereinafter the “Service” or “App”). The use of the Service requires downloading the App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store (see Clause 8).

We are the responsible entity for collecting, processing, and using personal details as defined by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG) and Telecommunications Telemedia Privacy Act (TTDSG) also apply as well as further relevant statutory regulations relating to data protection.

The protection of your personal data collected, processed, and used when you visit and/or us our Service is a matter of great concern to us.

Your details will be protected in compliance with statutory regulations. Below you will find information on what details are recorded when you visit and/or use our Service and how they are used:

 

1. Collection, storage and use of your personal data

1.1 When you visit and/or use the Service, our servers will temporarily save every request in a logfile. The following personal data are registered and stored by us without any involvement from you:

• the IP address of the requesting device.

• the date and time of access

• the name of the entity requested

• the Service from which the file is accessed

• the operating system and hardware status of your device you are using

• the name of your internet access provider

These data are collected and processed with the aim of enabling our Service to be used, guaranteeing long-term system security and stability, enabling the network infrastructure to be administered from a technical viewpoint and our Service to be optimized; they are also used for internal, statistical purposes.

Your IP address will only be evaluated in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure as well as for statistical purposes.

In addition, we use cookies and web analysis services when people visit our Service. See Clauses 4 and 5 of this data protection declaration for this.

 

1.2 If you register an account on our Service (hereinafter the “Account”), we may collect the following data:

• Username

• Email address

• Age

 

These data are collected, stored, and used to enable us to offer certain functions in our Service (progress saved, results saved, scores, etc.) and for statistical purposes. We will pass on your personal data for advertising and marketing purposes, in particular for market research and to draw up customer profiles, to suppliers of further offers and services as well as to service providers operating in this sphere if you have given your explicit consent for such activity at the appropriate point when registering for our services.

If you have given your explicit consent, we will also collect and use your e-mail address to send you our regular newsletter to the e-mail address specified and to provide you with promotional information. You can cancel your consent at any time by sending a request by e-mail to privacy@quizbingo.io or by clicking on a link at the end of every newsletter.

Your personal data will not be passed to third parties for any other purposes.

We may also offer to create an Account by way of registration via third party platforms (e.g. Facebook or Google Play Store); such third party registration is subject to its own terms. We recommend you make yourself familiar with these terms. By registering via a third party platform, you authorize GM to access certain information provided by the third-party platform, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and any other information as permitted by the third party platform’s terms. When registering through a third party platform, GM will only access and store information that is required for Account creation and the functionality of the Service.

 

2. Objection

You can object to the use and transmission of your personal data at any time. To do so, please refer to our contact address in Clause 8.

 

3. App Stores

The App is available exclusively for download through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. When downloading the App, the respective platform operators may collect personal data such as your name, email address, and payment information. This data processing is conducted solely by the platform operators and is subject to their respective privacy policies. We have no control over the collection and processing of this data. 4. Cookies / Ad Services

4.1 Cookies in general:

Cookies can make it easier, more pleasant, and more practical to use our Service during your visit. Cookies are alphanumeric information files which your web browser automatically saves to your device’s hard drive when you visit and/or use our Service.

For example, we use cookies to enable us to identify you as a user. Personal details are not collected through the use of cookies.

Most browsers accept cookies without any need for the explicit agreement of the user visiting the Service. However, your browser can be set in such a way that no cookies are stored on your computer or you are notified of any new cookies.

The deactivation of cookies may mean that not all functions of our Service are usable.

 

4.2 Google Ad Services:

Our Service uses ad services provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”) such as AdSense, a service for including Google advertisements. Google AdSense also uses cookies as well as so-called web beacons (invisible graphic images). These web beacons enable information such as the visitor traffic to our offering to be evaluated. The information generated by cookies and web beacons on the use of our Service (including the IP addresses of users) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in USA and stored there. This information can be passed on by Google to its contractual partners. However, Google will not combine your IP address with other details stored about you. You can also deactivate AdSense cookies as described above. Deactivating AdSense cookies may mean that you are not able to use all the functions of our Service. By using this Service, you hereby agree that Google may process the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

 

5. Analysis services

We use analysis services, such as Google Analytics, for the purpose of designing and continually optimizing our Service in order to meet requirements. Pseudonymized user profiles are created in this connection and cookies used (see Clause 4). The information generated by the cookie on your use of the Service such as

• device type / status / version

• operating system used

• referrer URL (site previously visited)

• host name of the device accessing the content (IP address)

• time of server request

is transmitted to servers in USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate use of the Service, to compile reports on Service activities and to provide further services linked to use of the Service and internet usage for the purposes of market research and to help us design these web pages to meet requirements. Google may also transmit this information to third parties if this is a statutory requirement or if third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.

On no account will the IP address be linked to other details relating to the user. The IP addresses are anonymized making it impossible to identify their users (IP masking).

The user can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in his browser software (see Clause 4); however please note that in this case it may not be possible to use the full functionality of our Service.

6. Social networks

You will also find so-called “social plug-ins” on our Service. These are functions of the particular social network through which you can, for example, share content from our offering with your friends on social media or recommend such content to them.

For transactional e-mail communication and in case you subscribed to our newsletter, we use the SendGrid service to send such e-mail communication to you. 8. PlayFab

We use PlayFab, a backend platform provided by Microsoft Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA, to support the development and management of our Service’s online features, such as player accounts, leaderboards, and in-game analytics.

• Data Collected: PlayFab may collect information such as player IDs, in-game events, device information, and other gameplay-related data.

• Purpose: This data is used to enhance game functionality, manage player progress, and provide analytics to improve user experience.

• Legal Basis: Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the functionality of our app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent where applicable (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

• Data Sharing: Data may be shared with PlayFab, which operates under Microsoft's privacy framework.

• Data Retention: Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or as required by law.

9. Firebase

Our Service uses Firebase, a platform provided by Google to provide functionalities such as analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications.

• Data Collected: Firebase may collect information such as app usage statistics, crash data, device identifiers, IP addresses, and in some cases, location data.

• Purpose: Data is processed to monitor app performance, resolve technical issues, and enhance the user experience.

• Third Country Transfers: Data may be processed in the United States. Google ensures compliance with GDPR through Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Unity Game Engine

We use the Unity Game Engine (hereinafter “Unity”), a platform by Unity Technologies, 30 3rd Street San Francisco, CA 94103, USA, to build and run our Service. Unity collects certain data to ensure optimal app performance and analytics.

• Data Collected: Unity may collect technical device information (e.g., IP address, device type, and OS), user activity data, and anonymized analytics.

• Purpose: This data is used to optimize app performance, debug issues, and gather usage statistics.

• Legal Basis: Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a smooth user experience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent where applicable (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

• Data Sharing: Data may be shared with Unity Technologies under their privacy framework.

• Data Retention: Retention depends on Unity’s policy and our need for the data.

• Third Country Transfers: Unity may process data in the United States and other non-EU/EEA countries. Unity ensures compliance with GDPR through Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Adjust

Our Service integrates Adjust GmbH, Saarbrücker Str. 37a, 10405 Berlin, Germany, a mobile analytics and attribution platform, to analyze user behavior and improve marketing campaigns.

• Data Collected: Adjust collects app install data, advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Google Ad ID), device information, and user interactions.

• Purpose: Data is processed for app usage analysis, fraud prevention, and campaign performance evaluation.

• Legal Basis: Processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing marketing efforts (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent where applicable (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

• Data Sharing: Data is shared with Adjust GmbH, which operates under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

• Data Retention: Data is retained as required for analytics purposes or until consent is withdrawn.

• Third Country Transfers: Adjust may transfer data outside the EU/EEA. GDPR compliance is ensured through Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. AdMob

We use AdMob, a mobile advertising platform provided by Google, to display ads within our Service.

• Data Collected: AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Google Ad ID), device information, location data (if enabled), and app usage data.

• Purpose: The data is used to provide personalized and non-personalized advertisements and to measure ad performance.

13. Information, rectification, correction, and deletion of data

You have a right of information with regard to the personal data stored about you and the right to correct false data as well as to block and delete them.
